Summary of this role
The role of an HR Generalist will partner with the HR Business Partner and business leaders on the implementation of corporate human resource policies at the segment or division level. In this role it is critical to stay connected with colleagues, in order to recommend appropriate courses of action. Manages critical HR compliance-related processes, participates in business processes, and contributes to special projects as required. Provides feedback and insight to corporate level HR functions.
What Part Will You Play?
Administer and manage HR programs including but not limited to, benefits, leave administration, workers compensation and level 1 employee relations issues.
Provides advice and counsel in assigned areas regarding management practices, performance management, organizational effectiveness, general employment practices, recruitment and staffing, compensation, team member development, employee relations, compliance, workers compensation, health and welfare benefits, HR operations, and payroll in support of business objectives.
With some oversight, ensures the company is compliant with all applicable HR laws/regulations and participates in audits by validating the accuracy of data.
Partners with the HR Business Partner and business leaders to understand their strategic objectives, supports and executes on people initiatives, such as engagement, change management, leadership development, recruitment, retention strategies, and organizational effectiveness in support of the business objectives within their assigned area.
Leverages knowledge of HR policies and HR programs to identify gaps or areas for improvement. Provides responses to team member questions as well as routine inquiries from leaders. Requires only limited support in administering HR policies and HR programs
Provide ongoing data support to the team as needed, utilizing Workday and Google workspace (documents, spreadsheets and presentations).
Works with HR Business Partner and Legal Counsel on immigration matters to ensure Company and employee compliance.
Supports contractor process flow for the business.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Relevant Experience or Degree in: No degree specified; combination of relevant professional training and/ or experience in lieu of degree accepted
At least 3-5 Years of relevant experience
Previous corporate HR experience is preferred

Prior hands-on experience with HR systems preferred (Workday, applicant tracking systems, etc.).
