HR Intern

Albany International Corporation (NYSE: AIN) is a global advanced textiles and materials technology and processing company comprised of two businesses: The Machine Clothing segment - the world's leading producer of custom-designed fabrics and belts essential to production in the paper, nonwovens, and other process industries; and Albany Engineered Composites- a rapidly growing and high-performing supplier of advance engineered composite structures for the aerospace and defense industry along with adjacent applications.

Job Purpose

Albany International is looking for a Human Resources (HR) Intern to support the daily operations of the HR team. The HR Intern will assist in research and support of various HR projects.

Job Responsibilities

This HR Internship will provide support for and get exposure to the following HR activities:

• New Hire Onboarding/Orientation
• Learning and Development

• Organizational Design

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Undergraduate Junior or Senior year in a Bachelor's Degree program for HR or business degree
• Minimum GPA 3.0

Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills; proficiency in Excel, Word, & PowerPoint preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral communications
• Results oriented and strong attention to detail
