Human Resources (HR) Manager

To be successful, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related degree preferred
  • 5-10 years of demonstrated HR leadership experience
  • Excellent Leadership, time management, and organizational skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Self-discipline to work independently and effectively in an unstructured environment
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Polite and professional
  • Ability to maintain appropriate personal and work boundaries
  • Responsive and willing attitude in the execution of duties
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately
  • Strong computer skills

As the HR Manager, you will:

  • Administer employment, personnel records, employee relations, job evaluations, compensation management, benefits administration, payroll, organizational development, and training.
  • Facilitate activities related to recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, coordinating assessments, screening interviews, and performing and evaluating background checks.
  • Conduct the new hire and onboarding processes, including preparing and presenting an offer letter, reviewing company policies and benefit plans, and collecting and processing new hire paperwork.
  • Write separation notices for employees separating with cause and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Coordinate, plan, schedule, and maintain records for various Human Resources projects, meetings, and training and development programs.
  • Maintain and update job descriptions for all positions.
  • Respond to general inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, etc., from employees and leadership.
  • Manage employee relations activities such as holiday parties, luncheons, and community involvement.
