The HR Operations Associate will assist in the efficient and smooth operational functioning of the Human Resources Operations department and will also provide support to a small factory or corporate function. This support will include responding to routine HR inquires, providing system expertise and acting as a trustworthy liaison between other HR Centers of Excellence functions, as well as coordinating various projects. Responsibilities:
- Provides HR support to transact all employee lifecycle activities in a timely manner, to include the following: verify the completion of job requisitions, interview scheduling, pre-employment check background adjudication, new hire paperwork coordination and onboarding, end of employment coordination and paperwork, severance package creation, job/position transfers, etc.
- Managing the I-P process and supporting Contractors via the contingent Worker Support Tool.
- Support the HR Operations team during high volume times with their assigned client groups and on projects with requisition creation, mass template creation, HR case submission and the processing of unemployment claims; This will be done by routinely updating the employee contact lists, attending team calls, reporting assistance and escalations.
- Provide support for electronic files by playing a key role with the electronic file process, acting as a liaison with Nestlé Business Services, and being a main point of contact to field questions on the process.
- Prepare and maintain reports from SAP Master Data, new-hire, transfer, and termination reports.
- Create, maintain, and update departmental and onboarding processes as needed.
- Complete additional projects as assigned by Manager, including scorecard maintenance, periodic or special report analysis, and support HR Operations team with regular reporting audit projects.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration or in a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of professional work experience in an HR, Administrative Assistant or Customer Service-related role within a corporate environment preferred.
- Must be able to exercise and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Teams) and Visio.
- Must have excellent time management and communication skills (oral and written).
- Must be detail-oriented, possess excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have strong stakeholder management, mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make independent, discretionary judgement.
- SAP or SuccessFactors experience preferred
