Our HR Technology Consulting Practice helps clients navigate the complex and ever changing world of HR Technology with Research, Strategy Development, Vendor Sourcing, Implementation and more. Our Technology Consulting includes a focus in Benefit Administration, HCM, COBRA, Spending Accounts and Leave Management, Learning Management.
Responsibilities:
As an HR Technology Consultant with Gallagher, you’ll enjoy a variety of interesting and important client consulting engagements, helping firms strategize, buy, implement or optimize their HR technology. You will be supported by highly skilled, passionate teammates, a culture of ethics and kindness and the financial stability of our 96 year old firm. The Consultant will provide a range of consultation services to clients on the development and implementation of key initiatives in the areas of HR and Benefits Technology in order to help create and sustain a high performing organization.


Essential Job Functions Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Problem Identification: Defines the problem through management consultations, team meetings, case framework analysis, and other applicable strategies
  • Conceptual Thinking: Breaks the problem into small, manageable segments; identifies the factors that affect the problem; decides how to approach the project
  • Research: Conducts objective research on current market trends, competitors, product demands, and other related topics to support critical analysis
  • Knowledge: Draw upon personal and company knowledge, trends, and experiences to highlight relevant implications for clients. However, if knowledge is lacking or insufficient must seek out company resources to fill the gap.
  • Interview: Interviews or facilitates focused group discussions with stakeholders, managers, supervisors, and other employees for data gathering
  • Document Review: Checks and analyzes information such as financial status, business flows, and other relevant data to support the project outcome
  • Synthesis: Summarizes all gathered data and facts; deduces logical conclusions based on valid arguments
  • Progress Report: Attends regular meetings and reports project progress to management including the use of company software planning tools
  • Recommendation: Brainstorms, finalizes, and presents recommendations for solutions to the business dilemma with ample justification and practical advice
  • Retainer Client Recommendation: Field client questions with minimal support
  • Organize and execute business project on behalf of clients according to client's requirements
  • Effectively engage with clients, including senior leadership to facilitate organized teams, ensure meaningful results are achieved, and build ongoing relationships
  • Meet with assigned clients when needed and perform an assessment of a problematic situation
  • Proactively work to create an energizing team environment
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience required.
