HRIS Analyst

Job Purpose:

HRIS Analyst responsibilities include gathering data, improving the performance of various HRIS throughout an organization and data integrity.

Essential Functions:

  • Support the optimization, ongoing design, compliance, and maintenance of all HR systems, with a primary focus on ADP Vantage and Workforce Manager Serves
  • Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management
  • Optimize HRIS processes, integrate new software, and perform diagnostic tests
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR team
  • Conduct regular audits for data integrity
  • Execute data requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform statistical analysis on gathered HRIS data and run queries
  • Perform audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, when required
  • Keep track of technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS

Education:

  • Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred

Relevant Work Experience:

  • 3 -5 years of experience as an HRIS analyst
  • Ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and train staff
  • Experience in analyzing HRIS and HR performance metrics
  • Advanced proficiency in database management and security, as well as running queries and creating reports
  • Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in HRIS Analysis
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in documenting processes, as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits
  • Understanding of HR information systems with a technical experience with at least one commercial HRIS product, ADP experience required.
  • Proficient organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of HR information systems with a technical experience with at least one commercial HRIS product, preferably ADP
  • Familiarity with human resource policies, procedures and regulations to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive matters

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not have employee direct reports but does have oversight responsibility for vendors and/or contractors
