Essential Duties:

  • Conceptualize and lead the implementation of new HRIS (Ceridian) and finance technologies for a broad HR and finance user group: enhance and provide new technology solutions that help automate/optimize processes and improve the analytic capabilities across all Human Resources, finance, accounting, treasury, and tax functions; test and perform quality assurance on new processes and applications; provide training and support for new and existing processes and tools.
  • Manage and maintain proprietary technologies, ensuring the system accurately represents accounting general ledger data; supports all internal/external reporting and reconciliation requirements; adequate controls (including security and back-ups); operates in a stable and efficient manner.
  • Partner with non-Finance and HR business units such as IT, Sales, Marketing to identify process improvement opportunities; work with stakeholders to develop processes and systems to convert these process improvement opportunities into process improvement realities.
  • Act as a thought leader in the HR and finance systems space and help mature organizational processes.
  • 40% travel during HRIS implementation, then fully remote.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with Ceridian HRIS system implementation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Information Systems, or Accounting Information Systems.
  • 5+ Years’ experience working in a Human Resources, Finance or Accounting department.
  • 5+ Years experience working in a SOX environment.
  • Proven experience with database systems with a high level of SQL proficiency.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
