Database SRE
Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking an experienced Database SRE for their Research & Development team to design and maintain robust database infrastructures for trading and research.
Skills
- Expertise in database management
- Proficiency in Linux systems
- Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Knowledge of Redis, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Performance troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain SQL and NoSQL database infrastructure
- Configure and scale PostgreSQL and MySQL servers
- Investigate and improve performance of database queries
- Architect and deploy Redis based key/value stores
- Engineer and apply infrastructure-as-code tools
- Build and test proof of concept datastores
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
