The opportunity

Omnicom Public Relations Group’s Singapore office has an opportunity for a Human Resource Intern to join our growing Human Resources team. Based in Singapore, you will work with the HR Team in implementing recruitment initiatives and assisting the team on day to day operation and ad-hoc projects


What you’ll do:

  • Sort incoming resumes and log them into appropriate tracking spreadsheets; talent mapping
  • Take ownership of the internship program by preparing intern candidate summaries to be presented to the hiring managers, coordinate intern candidate interviews and writing tests, draft intern offer letters, assist in the new intern onboarding process
  • Work with leadership in Talent Development to develop local market and regional training plans and assist in the coordination of training sessions
  • Prepare and proofread HR documents including employee handbooks and guides
  • May be responsible for making meeting arrangements
  • Handle employee requests through responsiveness, follow-up, or escalation to a senior team member if necessary
  • Any other ad-hoc duties

What you’ll need

  • Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or any HR/Business related field
  • Personable, able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people
  • Problem solving capabilities necessary to accomplish the duties and tasks of the position
  • Ability to correctly make decisions involving employee issues/ problems including when to escalate the problem to a more senior team member
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills; detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and multitask
  • Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
  • Ability to work in a strong team-oriented environment
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email
