Human Resources Analyst
Pay Details:
The annual base salary range for this position in California is $95,261 to $116,430 per year. The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.
The HR Analyst performs professional-level human resources work and responsibilities in functional HR areas. This role collects, compiles, and analyzes HR data, metrics, and statistics and applies this data to make recommendations. The HR Analyst provides multiple levels of support and actionable insights into workforce-related issues.
Responsibilities

Provide strategic analytics, insights, and trends to support HR priorities and make data-driven decisions

Measure the success of key HR strategies and initiatives across the organization

Collect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources and analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns

Build and work with large and complex data sets and measures to use in analyses that aid in decision making, tracking of business decisions, and impact on employee behavior

Develop a repeatable end-to-end reporting process with documentation and deliver ongoing project reports

Perform analysis including scenario planning, forecasting, measuring talent and workforce trends, and strategy effectiveness

Translate complex data and analysis into concise and straightforward insights and visuals

Build polished presentations for business leaders

Assist with performance, benefit, and compensation review and evaluation processes

Process data and maintain employee data changes as directed in HR systems
-
Identify and recommend reasonable short and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics

Collaborate with key partners to define, determine, socialize, and implement recommendations and project plans

Independently assess, define, and deliver on roadmaps with key deliverables and milestone dates

Assist HR leadership with staffing, recruiting, and departmental budgets
-
Provide routine and ad hoc reports from the HR systems

Assist the HRIS team with testing as needed

Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
-
3+ years of experience in related areas such as compensation, recruitment, training, employee benefits, and/or HR compliance preferred
-
Familiarity and ability to leverage data programs such as Workday and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Teams)

Proficient with or able to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and similar employee management software

Workday experience is a plus

Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Curious, creative, and a love of learning new things

Extensive knowledge and experience in conducting analysis using multiple data sources

Applied knowledge in constructing data retrieval and automation processes and workflows

Strong experience and understanding of working with quantitative and qualitative people data, including workforce metrics and employee data

Attention to detail and commitment to effectively handle and maintain confidential information

Strong influencing and networking skills
