What we’re looking for
We are looking for a dynamic and team oriented individual with some versatile experience working in a human resources capacity. A firm understanding of the role and responsibilities associated with human resources generalist activities which includes a wide range of skills and knowledge in the HR function and capable of adapting to evolving organizational needs. In this role you will interact with the Americas human resources team and the global human resources team. Compatibility and the ability to work in a collaborative work environment will be the key differentiator. You will be expected to use discretion when appropriate. International organizational experience is a plus as you will be expected to work with others across time zones, attend some early morning meetings and participate on global projects from time to time.

What will you be doing?
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Oversees new hire orientation and employee induction training.
  • Handles various administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, preparing reports, and managing HR systems.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and employee engagement
  • Liaise with internal contacts at all levels of the organization, including talent acquisition, information technology, and finance
  • Liaise with external contacts such as benefits vendors to sort benefit issues and other vendors as needed.
  • Occasionally plan and coordinate internal human resources and/or employee engagement events
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR team member or manager.
  • May attend and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for in you

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or relevant field
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • At least 2 years of human resources experience
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Exemplary planning and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • Highly organized and efficient to meet deadlines
  • A high level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Success in working under pressure while managing multiple projects
  • Relevant experience with Workday HRIS system
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interpersonal, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
  • SHRM-CP or PHR a plus.
