Overview:
This role will partner directly with the VP or Human Resources for West Coast and will have the opportunity engage on key human resources and labor initiatives. Researching, analyzing gathering and presenting data/information will be a key component of this position. This opportunity is ideal for a driven student with a sharp and analytical mindset looking for exposure to the “behind the scene” duties of human resources functions with focus on labor.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and create reports on key associate data
  • Review and analysis of Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Partner on establishing HR and labor best practices in the market Opportunity to shadow during labor contract negotiations
  • Develop and maintain HR compliance documentation
  • Perform other duties within HR discipline as needed
Qualifications:
  • Currently studying for Bachelor ‘s degree, Graduate degree in Human Resources; Labor Relations or Organizational Development
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to confidently present to leadership; strong business acumen required
  • Should possess the ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Extensive proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and Canva
  • Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information.
Paid internship- $15.50-$16.00/hr
