Human Resources Specialist I

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.

RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION

Must have good customer service and multi-tasking skills. Will set up and coordinate interviews with hiring managers. Will file employee data via electronic e-file system. Will conduct new hire orientation and assist with out-processing. Will assist with the development of performance briefings and periodic reports. Communicates and distributes HR-related information and documentation such as employee benefits, HR and Company policies and procedures. Document, process, and maintain records in support of HR-related issues. Provides support to special HR projects. Prepares standard or routine reports to respond to customer queries. Reviews documentation for completeness and required approvals. Enters approved personnel actions into the HRIS system. Coordinates resolution of incomplete information. Will perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested. Knowledge of CA laws a plus. Will assist with planning and coordination of employee morale activities such as annual employee appreciation party, local charity events, employee recognition program and other related activities.

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Associates degree in business administration or human resources and at least 1 year of job-related experience or equivalent combination of formal training and related work experience. Possess good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications and ability to perform detail-oriented work. The incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills, be able to work under deadlines, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The incumbent must possess a valid, state issued driver's license. Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.

SALARY

The expected pay range for this position is $65,520 to $68,400

JT4 LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position involves work typical of office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting to 30 pounds, constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must occasionally work duty days in excess of eight hours and perform shift and weekend work to meet required schedule demands. This position may require travel.
