In this critical role, you'll collaborate closely with IT leadership and Technology Owners, driving efforts to accurately report and control technology costs. If you have a deep understanding of the IT Cost Model, a talent for data-driven decision-making, and a passion for optimizing technology investments, we want to hear from you.The Senior IT Portfolio Management Professional organizes and prioritizes projects and programs based on IT Strategy, strategic roadmap, available and prioritized budgets, changes schedules and ensures that the appropriate financial and organizational support is being allocated in support of those goals. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.Use your skills to make an impactRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT or related field or 6 years of relevant experience, education, and training5+ years of comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio5+ years of experience producing metrics, measurements and trend reports5+ years of working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation5+ years of experience producing financial analysis, metrics, measurements and trend reportsAnalytical, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of the core Finance principles and basic understanding of the corporate accounting process (forecasting, invoicing, accruals...etc.)Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leadersDetail orientated to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflictsAbility to build strong relationships and manage expectations with a host of diverse stakeholdersUnderstanding of IT financial data, reporting and analysisUnderstanding of the IT cost model and how data flows through the modelPreferred QualificationsSix Sigma certificationPMPExperience in problem analysis and processAdditional InformationWhy HumanaHumana offers a variety of benefits to promote the best health and well-being of our employees and their families.
