Job Role: Junior Paraplanner

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM (AU Time Zone)
Salary range: $1,400 - $,1800 AUD

Who The Client Is: A fully self-licensed and privately owned wealth advisory and professional services business, located in Melbourne, Australia. The firm prides itself on providing a highly personalised adviser-client relationship; reflected in the fact that the vast majority of new clientele come from existing client referral. 

Role Overview: The Junior Para-Planner will provide essential administrative and technical support to the financial planning division, assisting financial planners in preparing client documentation, managing applications, and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met. This is a key position within the team, as it is integral to the smooth processing of client requests and contributes directly to the firm’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist financial planners with preparing documentation, client reports, and communication.
  • Submit applications to banks, brokers, mortgage lenders, and other third-party institutions.
  • Manage and organize client records, ensuring accurate data entry in FYI Docs.
  • Review and process client forms with a focus on accuracy, especially for insurance and superannuation.
  • Provide administrative support, track application progress, and stay current on industry regulations and best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients, third-party service providers, and internal teams.
  • Has experience submitting applications to banks, stock brokers, mortgage brokers, or other financial institutions.
  • Ability to work meticulously and ensure that all client information is accurate and complete.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as FYI Docs, Xero Practice Manager or similar financial planning tools is a plus.
  • Experience or knowledge of superannuation systems and insurance forms is desirable.
