Description

The Special Projects Business Analyst 1 will focus on providing specialized support to Consumer Loan Servicing teams servicing installment loans, including auto, rv/marine and powersports loans, to help meet their goals. This will be accomplished by assisting Title Administration, Vehicle Title Release, ILN Cash and ILN Research with building procedures, processes, testing and reporting. The BA 1 will also act as a subject matter expert and perform daily operational processes as assigned, including but not limited to the following:

• Support new system and process implementation and workflow.
• Research specialized problems and take action to correct
• Lead in process improvement ideas and documentation
• Partner with HAWC team to address changes to HAWC case flows and testing of such changes
• Establish knowledge base of current policies, procedures and practices for various departments
• Participates in creation and maintenance of procedures for various departments
• Builds test scripts, manages and implements testing and reporting of system enhancements
• Involved in all aspects of projects, including documentation of project needs, analysis/research of needs and possible solutions, identifying technology and business solutions, gathering, documenting and updating business requirements; reviewing workflow process mapping; developing business testing strategies and working with project members to execute the test plan, recommending preferred solutions, and implementing recommendations.

This role is available for hybrid work.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 or more years consumer lending or loan servicing experience
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft suite of products including Excel, Visio and familiar with Adobe

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Hogan system experience preferred
• Proven leadership skills required, including the ability to work well with others
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of loan operations and compliance/regulatory guidelines
• Ability to be flexible and work independently with good time management and a strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to organize and address multiple tasks at all times.

Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
