DescriptionSummary:The Regional Credit Admin Manager works with a staff of relationship managers, portfolio managers, underwriters, and regional credit administrators in the credit approval, administration, and review primarily for Huntington’s Regional Banking portfolio. This is an on-site or hybrid role with location within the Huntington footprint.• Looking to fill this hybrid role in one of the following cites within the Huntington footprint: Cleveland, Cincinnati or Columbus, OH; Indianapolis, IN; Detroit, MI; Minneapolis, MN.*Duties And Responsibilities• Establishes, implements, and manages administrative and review systems and procedures to protect the quality and profitability of the loan portfolio.• Manage credit structuring and negotiation strategy discussions with officer/business unit.• Analyzes, underwrites and approves/disapproves credit request exceeding line/regional approval limits.• Review analysis and underwriting for quality and completeness of underwriting.• Provide information, guidance and direction regarding credit policy, credit goals and current credit issues to Business Banking officers.• Identifies potential problem credits and works with the Financial Recovery Group (i.e. – Special Assets) to restructure credits and/or minimize risk of loan losses.• Promote a culture that results in a moderate to low risk profile for the portfolio.• Performs other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Finance, Business, or Accounting.• 10 or more years of credit approval or portfolio management experience.• Working knowledge of legal / documentation issuesPreferred Qualifications• Strong management and mentoring skills• Ability to resolve issues and drive performance• Excellent time management and organizational skills• Ability to work in a high volume environment• Excellent client management skills• Interact professionally and effectively with clients, business partners, and peers at all levels• Goal-oriented• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills• Critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical ability• ResourcefulExempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)YesWorkplace TypeHybridHuntington is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, gender identity and expression, genetic information, or any other basis protected by local, state, or federal law.Tobacco-Free Hiring Practice: Visit Huntington's Career Web Site for more details.Agency Statement: Huntington does not accept solicitation from Third Party Recruiters for any position
