Full Stack Engineer / Ruby on Rails and React - Assistant Vice President

iCapital is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to develop and enhance their SaaS cloud-based platforms using Ruby on Rails and React. The ideal candidate is experienced in enterprise software development, test automation, and system architecture with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Skills

Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and React
Experience with front end and back-end test automation tools like RSpec and Cucumber
Understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling
Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS and Kubernetes
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Responsibilities

Develop web applications using React for front end and Ruby on Rails for backend
Design system architecture and participate in technical design and architecture reviews
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to peer code reviews
Collaborate closely with Product Management to detail requirements and enhance platform features
Engage in daily stand-up meetings and Agile/Kanban development processes

Education

Relevant software engineering or computer science degree preferred
