DescriptionRole Mission: The Recruitment Intern will support the National Staffing Team in ensuring all positions at IDEA are filled with top talent. The intern will assist in developing and maintaining robust talent pipelines through administrative support for campaigns such as employee referrals and grow-your-own talent programs. They will help with data entry, scheduling, document preparation, and communication tasks to facilitate the recruitment process. The intern will also provide logistical support for recruitment events and professional development sessions, contributing to the overall effectiveness of staffing across all regions. This role offers an opportunity to learn about full-cycle recruitment and gain hands-on experience in talent acquisition.Location: This is a part -time remote position based in Texas with preference given to candidates who live in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth) .What You'll DoEssential Duties:• Data Entry and Management: Input and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (Jobvite) and excel-based trackers.• Document Preparation: Prepare and organize documents, reports, and presentations for the national Instructional Staffing Team.• Communication Support: Draft and send emails, memos, and other communications to candidates and internal team members.• File Management: Organize and maintain digital and physical files related to recruitment and candidate pipelines.• Data Analysis Support: Assist in compiling and summarizing recruitment data for analysis and reporting purposes.• Resource Development: Help create and update training materials, guides, and other resources for the recruitment team.• Meeting Support: Take notes during meetings and follow up on action items to ensure tasks are completed.Additional Duties and Responsibilities:• Provide general administrative support as needed, including answering phones, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.What You Bring - CompetenciesKnowledge and Skills:• Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication, interpersonal skills• Track record of learning new systems and content quickly and rapidly demonstrating proficiency• High degree of professionalism, maturity, and confidentiality• Proficient in use of technology, including Microsoft Suite• Strong ability to implement feedbackQualifications:• Required Education: C urrently enrolled in an undergraduate degree course of study• Preferred Education: 48 hours of college credi ts, degree major in Human Resources , E ducation, or related fieldPhysical Requirements:• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.What We Offer:Compensation: Compensation for this role is set at an hourly rate of $11/h our (15-20 hours weekly).Application process:Submit your application online through Jobvite.
