Why this role is important:


A Senior Technical Sales Consultant (TSC) plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between complex technical solutions and business needs. Reporting to the VP of Technical Sales Consulting, the Senior TSC will work closely with both the Sales and Customer Success Teams to support new business acquisition as well as customer retention and upsell efforts.

 

The role requires a deep understanding of Igloo products with the ability to translate technical solutions into presentations, demonstrations, and workshops for both technical and non-technical audiences.

 

The Senior TSC will also act as an advocate to highlight product feature blockers, provide market insight, competitive intelligence and feedback on use cases or product requests with the Product and Technology Teams.  


The impact you’ll have:
  • Technical Expertise & Product Knowledge:
  • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services to effectively communicate product value.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to evolve talk tracks and support deal strategies.

  • Solution Design and Customization:
  • Analyze business needs and requirements to design tailored solutions and ROI assessments to prospects and customers.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to flag product gaps, align with future roadmap work, and adapt products to meet client specifications.

  • Product Demonstrations and Presentations:
  • Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations to showcase user experiences by combining features, stories and value.
  • Deliver presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences, explaining complex concepts clearly and effectively.

  • Strategy and Support:
  • Work closely with the Sales and Customer Success teams to develop and execute a strategy around presentations, technical demonstrations and written responses.
  • Provide technical support during the sales process, including crafting proposals, creating presentations, and conducting product demonstrations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers from general stakeholders to executives.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product management, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
  • Provide feedback and insights to product teams based on client interactions and market trends.


The keys to success:
  • 4+ years of experience in digital transformation strategies, digital workplace technology, corporate communications strategies or knowledge management tools.
  • 5+ years of experience with business requirements gathering with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Proven ability to rapidly acquire and apply knowledge of new software, features and use cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities, adapt to changing deadlines, and handle varying levels of urgency with ease.
  • Ability to effectively balance focused work with time-sensitive requests.
  • Exceptional presentation and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
