Job Summary:
The Product Manager is the member of the product team embedded with the development team providing product support through the full lifecycle of software development. Responsible for translating the product vision and roadmap to the team and making it actionable for the team through authoring Agile stories and organizing them into sprints. Manages sprint outcomes to meet committed deadlines and validating that delivered features meet customer needs and the highest quality standards. Supports implementation of the features through documentation, issue management and subject matter expertise.
Job Expectations:
Translate product vision and roadmap priorities to technical teams
Define and document business requirements and functional specifications from business users and subject matter experts
Maintain and groom product backlog ensuring user stories are well formed with effective acceptance criteria
Support prioritization and negotiation of features and deadlines applying a thorough understanding of customer needs and business and technical requirements
Work with the development team to ensure feature traceability into the technical designs
Take leadership role in estimation, sprint planning, daily scrum and retrospective meetings
Communicate and coordinate within and across teams on proposed solutions, status and timelines
Deliver internal and external product training on new features, enhancements or modules
Evaluate and report system performance
Gather data and metrics to drive projects and measure success based on business value
Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT); write test plans as required
Perform customer demos of new processes

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
Expertise designing and implementing Transportation Management System modules.
Strong background and understanding of the global logistics process including but not limited to carrier integration, freight forwarder integration, end to end parcel movement cycle, import/export regulation and compliance.
Experience in leading Business Analysis, Business Process Design and Application Development (SDLC)
Experience in Agile, Scrum and iterative development
Strong background in designing/writing User Stories, Epics, and other design/requirement artifacts
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment
Customer first mentality with the knowledge to work with internal groups to improve business processes
Excellent written/verbal communication and must work well with others
Experience working closely with C-level users throughout the implementation life-cycle
Experience with global retail e-commerce or supply chain companies
Background in Industrial Engineering or Software Development
Equipment Knowledge:
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
Experience with Lucid chart
Experience with Jira
Experience with Asana
Experience Requirements:
Generally requires three (3) plus years of TMS design and implementation experience
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Computer Science related fields is preferred or equivalent work experience
Judgment/Reasoning Ability:
Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy. Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. The Team Member is frequently required to sit, walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers, bend, stoop and reach with hands and arms. The Team Member may occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 25 pounds. Proper lifting techniques required.
