Must-haves

7+ years of experience as a Web Administrator/Systems Administrator or similar position
5+ years of recent experience with IIS including IIS Manager and IIS Architecture
Experience with SQL Server
Previously utilized a ticketing system
Understanding of networking principles and basic server administration

An employer is seeking a Web Administrator to join their team on a hybrid basis in Hartford, CT. This position is open because the team is in need of a senior level resource to maintain the company's websites including 10+ external sites and 10+ internal sites. These websites are all hosted on Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS). This Web Administrator will be responsible for independently maintaining these sites including hosting the websites, upgrades, configurations, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. This resource should have understanding of basic server administration and networking principles, as they also be responsible for monitoring the websites on performance, and ensure proper network security is in place at all times. They will utilize the company's ticketing system Footprints, and answer tickets in the queue to assist non-technical users with support they need for the different websites including technical issues or access changes. This resource must have strong communication skills and be a self-starter. They will also have some oversight into a more junior level Web Administrator on this team assigned to handling tickets within the queue as well.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
