Pay Range is between $18.70-$21.12/hr, depending on years of relevant and like experience. **Range includes per diem differential. $2/hr for evenings and weekends.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Imaging Clerical Representative is responsible for facilitating the smooth and accurate flow of patients and information for the Imaging reception and file room areas. This position will ensure excellent customer service to patients, families, and other customers, as well as, work closely with patient access to facilitate service and information. They are also responsible for duties within the Imaging File Room including managing the imaging main phone line, customer service, patient release of information, image sharing via PowerShare and other programs, manage Actionable Findings program, operation of PACS, support of technical staff and radiologists.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education or Formal Training
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability
Understanding of medical terminology, grammar, punctuation, style, and editing. Excellent spelling skills. Basic understanding of anatomy. Good computer skills. Ability to prioritize, concentrate, and multitask. Must type 50 words per minute with minimal errors. Excellent listening skills. Ability to work independently. Knowledge of hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and systems. Excellent problem-solving skills including ability to identify multiple factors that may impact decisions, selecting best option. Ability to exercise tact, judgment and persuasiveness in creating and maintaining harmonious relations in working with coworkers, patients, families, visitors, physicians, and the general public.
Experience
Previous experience in medical setting and customer service preferred.
