Counselor - Women's Residential & Outpatient - Full-time

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Counselor to join our dynamic team, providing crucial support across our women's recovery program in Seaford, as well as in outpatient settings. This role is ideal for a flexible, self-motivated individual who is pursuing licensure and is committed to contributing to the well-being of individuals in recovery.

Location:

  • The Sanctuary at Impact Life Farm - Seaford Women’s Program, Seaford, DE
  • Outpatient Services

Hours:

  • 40-hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling services to participants in our men's and women's programs, adhering to established treatment plans and ethical standards.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to assist in the development and adjustment of treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and support to participants.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of participants’ progress and services provided, in compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Actively participate in supervision with a licensed clinician and engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to facilitate recovery and promote healthy lifestyles among participants.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field required.
  • Certification as a CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) or CAADC (Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor) strongly preferred.
  • Must be actively working towards professional licensure in the field of mental health or substance abuse counseling.
  • Previous experience in a counseling role within a healthcare or recovery setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to empathize and effectively manage complex emotional situations.
