The Delivery Manager is responsible for driving successful outcomes for all projects in their regional portfolio. A successful outcome means that the client realizes the business outcome of the solution and that the outcome increases the propensity for the client to buy additional products or services.
The Delivery Manager is focused on ensuring operational / delivery consistency, as well as enhancing processes, tools, and artifacts to improve future delivery.
DELIVERY CONSISTENCY
- The Delivery Manager will oversee the delivery of all projects within their region. Responsibilities include:
- Assigning resources to engagements
- Providing oversight of the project status update process
- Serving as a point of escalation for engagement delivery issues
- Supporting business development activities through validation of levels of effort (LOE) estimates or SOW details
- Creating readiness kits for customers and confirming their technical readiness
- Enabling assigned consultants with background on the project and/or customer
- Approving weekly time cards for projects within their region, as well as non-billable time cards for their direct reports
DELIVERY OPTIMIZATION AND ENHANCEMENT
- The Delivery Manager will play a key role in driving structural improvements in the manner that services are delivered to Imperva customers. Areas of focus along this vein include:
- Definition of new processes associated with delivery (eg. engagement workflow)
- Enhancement and optimisation of existing processes
- Services Tooling (eg. job aids, project delivery steps)
- Services Artifacts (eg. readiness kits)
- Supporting initiatives from the Centers of Excellence (CoE’s)
- Performing resource management planning: including capacity planning, skill set matrix review, etc.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a delivery forecast on a weekly basis
- Assist Manager with interviewing and onboarding of new Services team candidates
- Responsibilities could include direct management of delivery resources within their region.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
INTERACTIONS
- Works closely with management, as well as managers from other delivery groups, to ensure that customers are receiving high-quality service
- Participates in Management meetings when requested
- Communicates to management on key customer engagements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Self-starter and independent, but also able to work within a team environment
- Able to accept constructive criticism and implement relevant changes
- Ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly, succinctly and accurately
- Highly motivated, driven, and passionate about technology and customer success
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years of Professional Services experience
- 3 Years of experience as delivery manager or similar role or management degree
- Extensive experience working with a diverse, interdependent, cross-functional, cross-departmental projects, vendors, business objectives, and technologies
PREFERRED
- 1 Year of experience within Imperva products
- 5-10 years experience working in a Professional Services or project-centric organization leading projects with customers
- Certifications relevant to project management and/or cyber security technologies
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 – $150,000. The salary offered will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, other qualifications, and location.
