The Implementation Specialist will work with the Senior Director of Product Development, internal and external stakeholders to monitor program usage and effectiveness, help create strong customer relationships, and ensure the successful implementation of UWorld products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivery of in-person and online events, providing implementation guidance and data-focused support, and maintaining excellent customer service. The Implementation Specialist should be customer oriented, tech-savvy, and possess a deep understanding of educational technology. The best candidate for this role is proactive, committed to outcomes, detail oriented and possess a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Support the initial and ongoing multi-year, institution-wide implementation of UWorld College Readiness learning tools for AP, SAT and ACT.
- Design in-person, remote, and online resources for faculty, instructional leaders, and institution leaders to support strong implementation of the UWorld products, filling in gaps to address customer concerns.
- Provide instructional and content integration support to ensure successful implementation of the UWorld products. Supports may include conducting and debriefing observational walkthroughs with faculty and administrators, modeling product usage, and customizing implementation support content.
- Assess impact and effectiveness of product implementations by analyzing usage and performance data and comparing to successful implementation models. Support the process for customer-focused discussions, and regular meetings, around data and implementation efficacy, areas of concern, and possible solutions to ensuring high fidelity usage of the UWorld products. Provide ‘back on track’ plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to understand upcoming content offerings and feature releases and incorporate into implementation and training programs, assets, and online supports.
- Provide pre-sales support to Sales and Marketing Teams related to training options, program-related reporting and effective implementation.
- Available to travel, throughout the United States, up to 25% of the time.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Education, Training and Development, Curriculum & Instruction or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience teaching AP or Pre-AP courses in Science or Math
- Experience working within public or private schools, district, or university environments.
- Experience in educational technology including program development and delivery.
- Familiarity with multiple training methods (face-face, virtual, e-learning, train-the-trainer, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to call, connect and interact directly with customers, including live and virtual presentations.
- Ability to monitor, evaluate and report on program effectiveness and success by regularly reviewing and analyzing data related to usage, performance, and student growth.
- Experience successfully organizing, prioritizing, and managing simultaneous projects.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and very tech savvy.
- Knowledgeable about the application of educational technology in the classroom.
- Familiar with SAT, ACT and College Readiness requirements.
- Experience creating and delivering teacher training and professional development.
