Odoo Functional Consultant

Inbox Business Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and implementing Odoo ERP solutions to help our clients achieve operational excellence. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into customized Odoo applications, ensuring smooth deployment and user adoption.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their business processes, pain points, and specific requirements for Odoo ERP systems.
• Analyze and map client requirements to Odoo modules and provide recommendations for the best functional setup and configuration.
• Configure Odoo modules (Sales, Accounting, Inventory, HR, etc.) according to business needs, ensuring alignment with the client’s processes.
• Lead Odoo ERP implementation projects, ensuring on-time delivery, effective communication, and high-quality solutions.
• Develop test cases, conduct functional testing, and ensure that the system is functioning as expected before deployment.
• Provide end-user training and create user manuals. Offer post-implementation support to resolve any issues and ensure smooth system operation.
• Work closely with Odoo developers and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of functional and technical requirements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation on the functional specifications, configurations, and customizations.
• Stay up to date with Odoo’s latest features and versions, providing suggestions for enhancements and process improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in Odoo implementation, configuration, and customization.
• In-depth knowledge of key Odoo modules (Sales, Accounting, Inventory, Manufacturing, HR, etc.).
• Strong understanding of business processes, ERP best practices, and the ability to tailor Odoo solutions to meet client needs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Experience with Odoo version upgrades and migrations is a plus.
• Odoo certifications will be preferred.
