Core Banking Software Engineer

INDICE is a software house based in Athens, Greece. Our team develops digital infrastructure for the enterprise and delivers large scale consumer facing applications. As a Software Engineer, Core Banking at Indice you will be working with financial institutions at the heart of their business operations. You will participate in the complete software development life cycle, documenting the design and implementation of core banking software systems. You will integrate core banking systems with other banking applications and third-party services and support day to day operations of the Bank.

This position can be fullfilled through hybrid collaboration, on a 50-50 basis.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on core banking systems.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, financial services, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as COBOL, C, or Python.
  • Experience with core banking software platforms such as AS/400, Z/OS.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
