POSITION OVERVIEW:


Indiegogo’s Sales Team empowers SMBs and Enterprises to launch innovative products and projects successfully on Indiegogo. As our Senior Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, developing, and owning partnerships with marketing agencies and crowdfunding industry partners. You will develop partnerships to achieve revenue generation and marketing goals. You will support our partners to consult, evangelize, and empower their community to succeed with their Indiegogo fundraising goals and product go-to-market.


YOU WILL:
  • Own existing partnerships and develop new partnership models to grow the number of partner campaigns and funds raised through channel partnerships
  • Develop new partnerships with marketing agencies and industry partners to drive revenue, marketing, and overall adoption of the Indiegogo platform within the industry
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets and funnel activity KPIs
  • Track and report on the success of our partnerships with accurate customer, pipeline, and forecast data, internally and with partners through QBRs to streamline ways of working and partnership initiatives
  • Work with our B2B marketing team to engage in co-marketing activities with our partners, including but not limited to, live events, webinars, content, social media, and more
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Trust & Safety, and other internal teams to maximize partnership and campaign success


YOU HAVE:
  • 8+ years of client-facing experience, with emphasis on sales and partnerships preferred
  • Led the end-to-end cycle for high-profile partnerships
  • Experience in a consultative sales role for an Internet/e-commerce/marketplace business
  • You have a history of exceeding sales quotas throughout your career
  • Ability to navigate complex business sales cycles, demonstrate value, and handle objections, while delivering a delightful customer experience throughout the process
  • Excellent, concise communication so you can easily convey your thoughts, opinions, and feelings to customers and teammates
  • Ability to identify and engage decision-makers within a prospective client organization
  • Strong sales toolkit: you can prospect, qualify, demonstrate, negotiate, and close deals
  • The right attitude towards a sense of urgency, risk, and ambiguity that naturally comes with working at a startup
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a deadline-driven, high-pressure environment
  • Positive attitude with a focus on having a growth mindset


BONUS POINTS
  • High Growth Tech Ecosystem (SAAS) or crowdfunding-related experience
  • Experience organizing/maintaining data using Salesforce


***REMOTE WORK***


Although we are remote-first, we will from time to time get together in person, primarily for strategic sessions, creative brainstorming, and team-building activities. 


It is expected that you are available to travel within the United States for in-person events up to 1 week per quarter, business requirements will vary based on role and responsibility. Annual full company offsite typically occurs a week in April
