Overview:
UW Credit Union’s Consumer Lending Department is growing and hiring for a Consumer Loan Processor to join the team! If you are passionate about helping others reach their financial goals, and excited about the growth UW Credit Union is experiencing, this is the job for you!
As a Consumer Loan Processor, you will play a key role in ensuring both the completeness and timeliness of loans, as they are processed and disbursed to UW Credit Union members. When a UW Credit Union member applies, and is approved for, a loan, the ‘baton’ is handed to the Consumer Loan Processor – they review the loan application for accuracy, prepare all necessary loan documents, and deliver said loan documents in a timely manner. If you are organized, enthusiastic, and a great team player, this is the job for you!
As a Consumer Loan Processor, you are skilled in both administrative ‘behind-the-scenes’ duties, and customer service. Time management and organization come naturally to you – prompt and accurate completion of tasks is where you shine. Attention to detail is a vital skill for a Consumer Loan Processor, as you are scanning loan applications for accuracy. Tactful and effective communication is an equally important attribute, as you are communicating any discrepancies identified back to your fellow UW Credit Union employees. A successful Consumer Loan Processor is an enthusiastic team member, as teamwork within your department, as well as across other departments within UW Credit Union, is imperative.
