Due to continuing company success, Frost & Sullivan is currently seeking an Industry Analyst to join our global ICT team. This position requires the candidate to develop insightful strategic research and proactively support client engagements around Connected Work (Unified Communications and Collaboration) technologies and solutions. The Industry Principal (IP) is a market analyst who is focused on the business communications industry, ideally communications endpoints and cloud communications and collaboration services (e.g., video meetings, group chat, UCaaS, CPaaS). The IP's focus is on further advancing market sector specialization and developing business and strategy skills alongside being skilled at identifying growth opportunities in the specific industry. The IP leads client presentations on specialist subjects and contributes to shaping the research strategy of the Program.

This role is open to being remote or hybrid.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts primary and secondary research and develops market segmentations, forecasts, and detailed market analyses. The Iindustry Principle is able to identify and analyse growth opportunities within his/her area of industry expertise.
• Takes personal responsibility for his/her own Growth Opportunity Analytic deliverables from end to end. The Industry Principle will be focused on creating insightful and impactful content in his/her area of industry or market expertise.
• Provides content to feed into the Best Practices Award program. Responsible for producing regular BP Award deliverables based on GOA deliverables. Awards may be self-written or created collaboratively through nominations shared with the Best Practices Research (BPR) Team.
• Gains experience and skills by working directly with clients through enquiry time and private briefings. The IP will be able to hold valuable discussions with clients around market growth opportunities.
• The IP will build a presence on social media to showcase market expertise and thought leadership. Will take the lead on growth opportunity presentations focused on his/her own market expertise, deliver public briefings, give press interviews and produce research material to be used in Think Tank sessions.
• Supports the Sales Team when required. Passes GOA leads to account executives (AEs). Completes sales queries, speaks directly with clients to support Account Executives.
• Responsible for producing Frost Radar deliverables in his/her market or industry of expertise. Is able to present the value of the Frost Radar as a tool for benchmarking companies' future growth potential.
• Addresses client questions, uses Growth Opportunity Analytics interactive hours to generate added-value insights and generates growth opportunity ideas for clients.
• Will occasionally play the role of a project analyst on advisory projects when required, and when he/she has specific expertise that can be leveraged. Will be part of a delivery team under a project manager.

Required Competencies:

The Industry Principal should have 6-8 years of experience in the IT or Telecom industry and/or as a market analyst and possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills; English absolutely required
• A degree-level education or equivalent experience within a relevant related discipline
• Advanced MS Office (Word, Power Point & Excel mainly) skills
• A high level of confidence to present his/her work to a group of peers or a client and defend his/her analysis in a calm and professional manner
• A foundational understanding of consulting/research/investigative methodologies and business modelling (primary/secondary research, coherent story development)
• Desire, curiosity, and enthusiasm to build his/her expertise in the ICT domain to become a respected thought leader in the eyes of global industry vendors
• A team player who views team collaboration as an important path to professional development
• A critical thinker with superb analytical skills
