Are you a dynamic, detailed oriented and experienced marketer looking for your next professional challenge?
The Americas marketing team is looking for a skilled Industry Segments Marketing Manager with B2B marketing experience to work with us in our Chelmsford, MA-based team.
Join us in this exciting challenge where you will strategize, develop, and execute on marketing strategies and initiatives relating to specific vertical markets and Axis partner programs. You will also liaise with both external and internal customers, and leverage both traditional and digital marketing tactics to implement campaigns to drive real bottom-line impact. This is an individual contributor role.
What you will do:
Oversee general messaging and strategy for the education sectors (K-12 and Higher Ed), in alignment with the sales team.
Develop and implement marketing strategies and annual plans, in line with business objectives, and in collaboration with field sales teams and internal marketing departments.
Create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns according to the target market’s buying journey and showcase the value of Axis and partner solutions in the context of Education vertical markets and programs.
Identify content gaps and create various pieces for campaign use as well as sales enablement. Collaborate with internal marketing teams (Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, and Field Marketing) on content creation and distribution.
Research and identify new opportunities for exposing the Axis brand and value in assigned industry segments. Prioritize key initiatives to best meet business objectives and align with budget requirements.
Possess or develop an understanding of Axis technology as it relates to customer needs and solutions offering. Ability to write relevant messaging for Axis solutions in a vertical space.
Continuously measure ROI of marketing initiatives, report the findings and utilize information to enhance marketing plans.
Liaise with a variety of central and decentralized marketing teams throughout US sales territories, Mexico, Canada, South America and Axis Corporate Marketing organization in Lund, Sweden.
Develop, gain approval for and execute against independent budget.
Lead demand generation/branding activities to generate interest through top of funnel marketing activities to create sales opportunities for the field to ultimately drive revenue.
What we’re looking for:
Expertise marketing to end customers and working within a fast-paced B2B marketing environment
Experience in digital lead generation campaigns and efforts
Project management skills to strategize and plan as well as execute marketing initiatives and campaigns
Knowledge of Salesforce and experience working within a marketing automation platform (Pardot preferred)
Organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize workload, excellent use of time management
Prior experience building strong business relationships both internally and externally
Intermediate to advanced understanding of Microsoft Office – primarily Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams
Flexible team player: ability to effectively work independently as well as within a team
Effective verbal and written communicator
Flexible and adaptive to changing business requirements
Budget management and resource allocation; negotiation skills
Proven writing and editing skills
Original and creative problem solving; confident decision making
Passion for marketing & branding
Precise attention to detail
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field; advanced certifications/qualifications preferred with a minimum of 5 years marketing experience
Strong strategic mindset for digital lead generation campaigns and activities
Prefer experience marketing towards end customers within a channel sales model
Prefer experience within the IT and/or security industry or education industry?
