Revenue Accountant

Non-CA Pay Range (Annual):$51,000.00 - $94,800.00CA Pay Range (Annual):At Infinera, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.Infinera also offers paid leave, medical,dental, and vision coverage, 401(k),life, and disability insurance to eligible employees.The Revenue Accountant will be engaged with revenue arrangements for sales/service projects, the close process as well as system/reporting projects. This role ensures analytics and reporting are completed timely and accurately as well as any new or modifications to the company's accounting policies are implemented timely and accurately.Your Key Responsibilities:• Reviewing and documenting multi-element and standalone revenue contracts to ensure revenue allocation is accurate and complete in accordance with ASC606.• Preparation of journal entries and reconciliations during monthly/uarterly close to ensure current period posting is correctly stated.• Engage with sales/service teams to provide guidance during deal creation• Engage with legal team to provide guidance during customer contract negotiation• Review sales forecast to ensure deal structure will flow thru SAP RAR systemically• Work with external auditors to provide data and close-out follow-up questions• Assist in managing revenue application and other related projects• Perform analytics on revenue results for quarterly and annual financial reporting• Ensure revenue processes and controls are in compliance with internal controls.Qualifications:• 2-5 years' experience of relevant accounting experience or education• Positive, self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills, strong Excel skills and analytical skills.• SAP and RAR experience preferred.• Knowledge of auditing financial statements and internal controls• Demonstrated leading projects or tasks.Education:• Bachelor's degree Accounting/Finance• CPA#LI-DW1#LI-Hybrid#LI-Remote"This position requires direct or indirect access to certain confidential information, hardware, software, technology, or technical information (referred to here as "Export-Controlled Information") controlled under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
