Overview:
The Inflight Services Data Analyst is an integral part of our transition into AQP (Advanced Qualification Program within the FAA) serving as our data expert for all IFS learning programs and quality assurance activity. The Data Analyst should be proficient in data collection systems to maximize the value of extracted data. This Analyst will be responsible for organizing and analyzing data and presenting it in ways that are easily accessible by others at all levels of the team and company. The Data Analyst will help us identify the highs and lows of Flight Attendant performance so that we can build the safest and most effective team of Flight Attendants possible.
Responsibilities:
- Develop expertise in data collection systems, FAA data reporting needs, and data analysis to identify proficiency across workforce.

Collect and analyze evaluation and audit data for analysis and summary.

Working knowledge of statistical methodologies, data analysis techniques, data management, dashboards, modeling, querying, and workflows.

Document data processing decisions, summarize the quality of data, and analyze and synthesize research findings into key insights for stakeholders.

Create comprehensible and usable information and infographics to convey information to internal and external stakeholders.

Performs basic and complex data analyses on both quantitative and qualitative data relevant to needs of the department and Company.

Monitor data quality daily and ensure operational and program data is complete and accurate.

Work with the Company’s software vendor(s) to thoroughly understand the intricacies of the data recording and collection systems, how they operate, and ways to improve both the system and data output.

Implement solutions that support data governance, data fidelity and quality initiatives, dashboards, and data transformation through modeling, querying, and workflows.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science information systems, statistics, or related field.

2 - 5 years of related experience in an analytical role.

Capacity to work with large amounts of data, extract relevant information, and draw logical conclusions.

Ability to pay attention to detail when working with data to make accurate conclusions and predictions.

Advanced knowledge of data analytics, cleaning, and preparation.

Proficiency with data modeling and data analysis tools as well as statistical and mathematical analysis.

Expertise or advanced skills in Excel including programming languages (VBA).

PC proficient in other Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Experience and comfort in working in various database software and web-based reporting tools.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and working independently.

Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Some repetitive motion such as typing.

Position requires some physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking and light lifting of boxes, bags, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.

FLSA Status: Salary Minimum Position Pay Range: USD $50,000.00/Yr. Maximum Position Pay Range: USD $75,000.00/Yr.
