Influencer Marketing Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Influencer Marketing Specialist in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing influencer marketing strategies that will build awareness and value in the Garmin brand.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

Lead, grow and maintain social media influencer marketing programs
Identify influencers that are a good fit to promote Garmin products
Develop influencer campaigns working alongside marketing leaders to promote Garmin products
Build relationships with influencers to build strong engagement with Garmin
Develop and coordinate regular communication to influencers and groups of influencers
Conduct product training to ensure influencers properly understand and can communicate benefits of Garmin products
Present influencer marketing plans, negotiate contracts and onboard influencers of all levels from grass roots to product and paid campaigns
Review content produced by influencers to ensure they are in line with desired direction for each campaign
Monitor the success of campaigns across all influencers
Create and distribute a monthly report that includes an overall picture of influencer activity
Manage product fulfillment and influencer payments on a timely basis

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree
Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
Strong knowledge and understanding of the influencer marketing and digital/social landscape
Possess a strong passion for Garmin, including its mission, products, values and success
Demonstrated proficiency and strong aptitude for using consumer electronics devices
Demonstrated proficient Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated effective leadership and team building skills with exceptional time management skills
Must be positive, detail oriented, organized, team oriented and a driven problem solver, multi-tasker, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize and drive initiatives in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to travel

Desired Qualifications

Experience in working with other global companies and demonstrated understanding of global marketing techniques
