Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-tobe-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business. We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.
You will be responsible for leading the marketing strategy, planning, and execution for a diverse range of digital platforms and products within the Food portfolio. This includes managing the online directory (Ingredients Network), content websites (Fi Global Insights & Vitafoods Insights), and various webinar series (Fi Webinar Series & Vitafoods Webinar Series). You will leverage your experience in digital marketing, data analysis, and team leadership to drive customer engagement, brand awareness, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Campaign Management
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive digital marketing strategies and campaign plans that align with the overall business objectives.
Create and manage operational implementation plans (Time & Action Plans, Media Plans, Budget Trackers) to ensure timely and effective campaign delivery.
Collaborate with our agencies and Marketing Executives to refine digital product marketing campaigns, ensuring clarity and quality in communication materials.
2. Customer Engagement & Journey Optimization
Develop and optimize the customer journey across all touchpoints, utilizing insights to create precise targeting and enhance engagement strategies.
Manage email campaigns using marketing automation tools (Eloqua), ensuring timely execution while optimizing based on performance metrics.
3. Data Management & Analysis
Utilize data analytics to monitor campaign performance, providing timely reports, automation of dashboards (in collaboration with central data team) and actionable insights to drive improvements and maximize ROI.
Ensure robust data governance, segmentation, and analysis for targeted campaign execution.
4. Collaboration & Leadership
Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (digital marketing, copy, creative) and external suppliers to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
Mentor and guide junior marketing executives, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
5. Marketing Execution
Oversee the creation of marketing collateral (email, digital) as per marketing plans and ensure compliance with brand standards.
Maintain and optimize product websites (e.g. webinar series), collaborating with internal teams and agency to enhance traffic and conversion.
Ensure execution of campaigns that drives soft leads (webinar and newsletter subscription)
6. Innovation & Trend Monitoring
Stay abreast of new marketing trends, tools, and techniques, and introduce innovative strategies to enhance marketing effectiveness.
Foster a culture of testing and metrics-driven decision-making within the marketing team, leading by example.
Qualifications:
Experience in a marketing role, with a focus on digital marketing and campaign management.
Proven experience with marketing automation and project management tools, preferably Eloqua and ASANA
Previous experience in CMS systems (Adobe Experience Manager or Smart Connection Media), Web Analytics (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) and A/B testing is desired
Experience in design tools (Photoshop, InDesign) is a plus.
Analytical skills, with a track record of leveraging data to drive marketing strategies and campaigns.
Skills and Attributes:
Good written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
Understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO best practices, social media, PPC, email marketing, and content marketing.
Experience managing external agencies and executing cross-channel campaigns effectively.
A self-starter with an agile mindset who embraces change and seeks innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an international, matrixed organization.
