Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a People Operations Excellence Specialist to join our People Operations Team. Within the broader Taylor & Francis People Team, the People Operations Excellence team possesses a specific set of skills that fosters internal knowledge and expertise to support our colleagues. This people-focused function allows for improved communication, quick response rates, clear processes, and accurate data. In short, the People Operations Excellence team ensures a seamless end to end colleague experience.

What you'll be doing:

  • Processing transactional elements of employee lifecycle 
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with local colleagues and centres of excellence​ 
  • Proactively engage and embed with stakeholders across the People Team and aligned business area 
  • Management of the HRIS systems to ensure colleague profiles are created, maintained and accurately updated with any changes throughout the month
  • Handle diverse and confidential information requiring extreme accuracy, independent judgement and discretion
  • Support continuous process improvements to increase effectiveness, efficiency and digitization, active identification of improvement areas and pro-active suggestion of potential improvements

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, internal departments and key contacts.  
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin, spoken and written
  • A self-driven enthusiasm for continuous learning and development  
  • Ability to act with integrity, tact and diplomacy with sensitive and confidential information and handle it in a secure and safe manner at all times 
  • Effective at working both independently and as part of a collaborative team  
  • Pro-active problem-solving approach 
  • Excellent customer service skills 
  • Good time management skills 
  • Good knowledge and understanding of HR administration 
  • Previous experience within a HR shared service environment desirable

Location:

  • This role is open to candidates in all locations across Singapore, and you must have the right to work and live in Singapore
  • This role is based in Singapore, Taylor & Francis has flexible hybrid working options for how employees can work based on their role. Flexible working is offered with this role, we ask that candidates live within a commutable distance to ensure that as a balanced worker they can make it to our Singapore office to collaborate as required. Time spent in the office is likely to range from 10%-80% of working hours, with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.
