Information Technology Administrator

CEPTON is seeking an IT Administrator to lead IT related projects and support employees both locally and globally. This role will be located out of Cepton HQ in San Jose, CA, but will be responsible for planning and implementing company-wide technology infrastructure changes to support Cepton’s growth.

Responsibilities:

Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
Assist with monitoring, incident management and creative troubleshooting of the entire environment
Purchase IT equipment and supplies
Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services for our HQ in San Jose
Plan and implement the company-wide technology infrastructure roadmap to support company’s growth plans
Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection / breaches, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
Analyze, evaluate and improve applications development and IT infrastructure and architecture
Administer and implement supply chain and order processing system within NetSuite ERP System

Qualifications:

Bachelors of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant field
Experience in high-performing IT support or operations, including hardware management
Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
Experience dealing with remote teams, deploying infrastructure, setting IT policy, planning for future growth
Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Create business autonomation by analyzing systems, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
Familiarity with NetSuite ERP system is a plus
