Our growing business needs an experienced and outcomes-focused Learning & Development Advisor. You will be professional, clear thinking, positive under pressure and results driven, with a ‘can do’ attitude that inspires respect from other leaders and professionals. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Your role as a Learning & Development Advisor is to work within a growing People Services team alongside our Senior Business Leaders helping to engage and develop our high performing teams based in our offices in Manchester, London and Edinburgh. You’ll have the opportunity to progress your career to more senior levels within an expanding organisation, supported by our Career Development Coaching and Mentoring framework.

 

You will also be excited by the opportunity to:

  • Work with our business and technical experts to develop creative and engaging face to face and e-learning training modules, using innovative ideas and our modern and flexible Leaning Management System to bring training sessions to life, gathering feedback and continually improving the value of our training to the business.
  • Be a trusted learning expert for our business, including championing our staff development programme with staff, potential hires, alliance partners and clients.
  • Take responsibility for the continuous investment in our people by owning the full learning cycle of InformedACADEMY© (our in-house staff development programme), supporting our people and our clients to build the skills, capabilities, and insights they need to be successful in their roles and to stay ahead in a rapidly changing digital world. This includes supporting staff through our Career Development framework, covering responsibilities, accountabilities and learning pathways.

 

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in supporting Learning and Development initiatives ideally within a professional services organisation.
  • Proficient at managing and maintaining Learning Management systems and ensuring training records are kept up to date for accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Experience working with Senior Leaders who are responsible for business change.
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods.
  • Commitment to Continued Professional Development with a strong business acumen and solid relevant experience of relationship building and implementation of learning interventions.
  • Understanding of different learning styles and methods, design, and delivery experience.
  • Experience in evaluating and assessing the effectiveness of learning programmes
  • Ideally CIPD qualified or an equivalent qualification, however, we are also willing to support the right candidate in achieving an appropriate qualification.
