This role involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of Android applications for both mobile devices and smart TVs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Android development, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for creating high-quality user experiences across multiple platforms.Key Responsibilities• Leadership &• **** Lead and mentor a team of Android developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and fostering a collaborative environment.• Architecture &• **** Architect and design robust, scalable, and high-performance Android applications for both mobile and TV platforms.• Project• **** Oversee the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.• Cross-Platform• **** Ensure seamless integration and consistent user experiences across mobile and TV platforms.•• **** Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.•• **** Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development and incorporate them into projects.•• **** Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues, ensuring the smooth functioning of applications.•• **** Implement and maintain testing strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.Required Skills and QualificationsLooking for overall 10+ Years of experience• **o 7+ years of experience in Android development, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.o Proven experience in developing applications for both Android mobile devices and smart TVs.• *• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.• Technical *****o Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.o Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.o Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.o Expertise in offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.o Familiarity with the Android TV platform and its specific requirements.o Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.o Experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications.o Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
