Job Summary
The IT Infrastructure Manager will lead a dedicated internal user support team for all HOLLY HUNT locations, this includes end-user support and on-premises infrastructure such as network, servers, audio/visual, phone systems and security. This role will work with the MillerKnoll IT team and HOLLY HUNT leadership to identify, recommend, and implement internal technology solutions. This person will also develop and maintain documentation of processes and policies and oversee implementation and reporting of departmental metrics. While a leadership role, the Manager is expected to be hand-on with end users as necessary.
General Duties & Technical Responsibilities:
  • Identify, recommend, and implement internal technology solutions.
  • Lead and/or execute infrastructure projects; this will be a balance between initiatives done by staff and leading endeavors executed by MillerKnoll or outside vendors.
  • Lead the HOLLY HUNT team that supports Service Desk tickets/User Support Team.
  • Work with the Miller Knoll Information Security team to verify and validate secure Infrastructure practices and maintain continuous security of user assets and endpoints.
  • Actively work with management of remote HH locations on all IT needs, coordinate local IT team visits and recommendations to keep remote hardware up to date.
  • Manage all team projects.
  • Manage various Service Providers and Resellers relationships as needed.
  • Work with IT Leadership and Finance teams regarding internal tooling needs and renewals.
  • Manage IT assets including purchasing, tracking, inventory, patching, issues and decommission.
  • Benchmark, analyze and recommend changes to company infrastructure assets as needed.
  • Actively work with the Technology leadership team to speak to the vision, growth and direction of the user support function and IT Infrastructure.
  • Assist in audit requests when pertaining to internal IT Infrastructure.
  • Actively oversee all P1 and P2 infrastructure outages by coordinating necessary resources, tracking the teams progress to resolution, communicating updates to the company, and documenting the response.
  • Work with the MK Cloud Operations team to ensure that current AWS servers are optimized for current usage.
  • Assist in the specification, quoting/ordering, and physical deployment of new hardware.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university.
  • 5+ years of IT Management experience with expertise in infrastructure and networking.
    • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the following: Powershell, Active Directory, AWS Cloud Services, Remote Desktop Services, SCCM, Windows Server 2008R2/2012 R2, ShoreTel & Teams VOIP, Commvault
  • Demonstrated self-starter and team player who can work independently, meet deadlines and multi-task in a fluid, time-sensitive and growing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills including the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including executive management
  • Willingness to work off-hours as production needs dictate
  • Some local and out of state travel (varies based on projects)
  • Some lifting required (up to 65lbs)
