Reporting to the Vice President, Workforce Planning, the Human Resources Coordinator will lead the charge in the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) by coordinating meetings, crafting engaging agendas, and ensuring follow-up on key action items that drive safety forward! Take ownership of health and safety data management, ensuring quality and consistency while being the go-to resource for employee inquiries, vital ergonomic assessments, and the organization of health and safety training sessions. Assist the Executive Vice President, Corporate Services on administrative tasks that enhance our team’s effectiveness. Play a pivotal role in supporting the Workforce Planning team, contributing to projects and initiatives that elevate the employee experience and foster a thriving work environment!
What You Will Do:- Coordinate the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC), including scheduling meetings, creating agendas, take minutes, maintain inspection schedules, and follow up on action items.
- Manage all health and safety related data ensuring quality and consistency.
- Serve as an important point of contact for employee inquiries via the Health and Safety inbox.
- Assist in the administration of various health and safety programs including coordination of the Personal Protective Equipment program, Ergonomics, Mental Health, & Wellness Program via a 3rd party.
- Organize health and safety training sessions, manage external service provider relationships, and assist with budgeting and expense tracking.
- Provide support to Executive Vice President, Corporate Services on various administrative functions such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, communications, as well as scheduling and preparing agenda items for monthly HR Roundtables.
- Using a variety of tools and systems, ensure the quality and consistency of data and analytics by providing support to other members of the Workforce Planning team including assisting with the annual employee experience survey, IO service awards and position management.
- Assist with various special projects, initiatives, reporting and documentation across the HR team, as required.
- Support Workforce Planning /Engagement by providing support on Position Management and administration of monthly data delivery to Engagement Manager.
What We Are Looking For:- A few years of experience working in a coordination capacity supporting an HR team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, with a minimum of intermediate level skills in Excel.
- Experience tracking, managing, and analyzing data/information, using a variety of technology and Excel as tools.
- Experience in a client-focused role with responsibility for the client experience including proactively managing inquiries and issues, supporting clients through corporate processes, providing comprehensive information, etc.
- Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills are required.
- Ability to work efficiently with limited guidance and formal structures in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- A high level of professionalism and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to synthesize and present information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
