What You Will Do
The Clinic Billing Supervisor manages all billing, correspondence, and scanning activities and is responsible for performance and effectiveness of the department. The Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring staff performance, productivity. Ensures department objectives are met to facilitate compliant billing, improve revenue, accelerate cash, and reduce denials. Additionally, they will be responsible for supervising all correspondence with insurance companies and scanning documents to designated areas. The Supervisor will work within the department team, Front Office, Clinical and other departmental staff as needed to coordinate efforts and ensure timely authorizations and payments by insurance companies and client contracts. They will empower staff to develop methods of process improvement, including planning and setting priorities.
The Opportunity
This position is open to residents of the State of Indiana, and requires routine presence at our Center in Indianapolis, IN. Frequency of on-site presence is dependent upon role and department needs.

We are seeking a dedicated Clinic Billing Supervisor who will play a crucial role in managing the efficient operations of our billing department. In this exciting position, you will lead a team responsible for all billing, correspondence, and scanning activities to ensure the highest level of performance and effectiveness. Your leadership will empower staff to improve billing processes, enhance revenue, and reduce denials. You will oversee the submission and resolution of insurance claims and collaborate with the Front Office and Clinical staff to facilitate seamless payment authorizations. We’re looking for someone with strong people skills, as you’ll be training and supporting new team members, conducting performance evaluations, and implementing policy improvements. With at least 7-10 years of experience in medical billing and the preference for billing certifications such as CPC or CCS, you will be well-equipped to address the challenges of this role.
