Strategic Value Media (SVM) is a media publisher that specializes in addressing the unique needs of trade associations and advertisers who need to reach specialized trade professionals. Our inside advertising sales representatives sell online and print advertising space to local, regional and national businesses of all sizes.

Our starting compensation is $60,000 per year. Additional commissions can be earned above and beyond as well. Potential to earn significant income. Additionally, we offer employee benefits which include: employer contributed medical premiums for both employee and dependents, Health Savings Account (HSA), and paid time off.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Our Inside Advertising Sales Representatives must be comfortable conducting business over the phone
  • No prior sales experience necessary BUT we are looking for someone with a strong and innate desire to work in the sales industry
  • An inside advertising sales executive must have exceptional communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Outgoing and personable; you pride yourself on being able to strike up a conversation with just about anyone.
  • Competitive and able to handle a fast paced work environment and adapt quickly to change.
  • Self motivated and financially driven - Our inside advertising sales representatives are goal oriented and understand that their hard work results in financial success.

The Day to Day of the Inside Advertising Sales Representative :

  • As an inside advertising sales representative at SVM, you will become an industry expert across a wide array of associations, while executing a high call volume and working towards closing sales.
  • All leads are given to our inside advertising sales representatives so there is no prospecting or lead generation on their behalf. With all of your time being spent on the phone it maximizes your earning potential and allows you to master the techniques we teach you in training.
  • As a new inside advertising sales representative you can expect very hands on and interactive training. Constant communication with managers and senior sales representatives allows for the skills you learn in our classroom style training to improve daily. We are invested in your success!
  • Our inside advertising sales representatives thrive on competition so we have created a unique work atmosphere that fosters results while still maintaining a casual, fun feel.
  • We provide a professional environment with competitive compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and performance.
