Bio-Techne Diagnostic Reagents Division is looking for a highly motivated & self-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop innovative strategies to achieve sales goals, as well as make meaningful connections with our customers.
The key objective for this position is to increase sales in the United States and other assigned territory through cultivating new accounts. You will be in a thriving environment handling established OEM accounts and working closely with the sales team to establish new business opportunities. In the position you will be expected to maintain a high level of market knowledge.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Mine data to identify and qualify new business opportunities, including in-bound lead follow up, outbound cold calls, emails, and social media.
- Source, develop and drive new/existing business opportunities.

Maintain contact with new customers to discuss potential business opportunities.

Implement new and innovative strategies to identify new business, therefore enhancing revenue goals.

Keep all channels of communication open with internal and external sales teams, lead generation and marketing within Bio-Techne.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of marketplace and competitors. Report findings and potential pipeline on a regular basis.

Partner with marketing to design awareness campaigns.

Represent the company at domestic and international conferences.
- Accurately report back into the team leader on business opportunities.

Maintain a high-level of knowledge of our products/services and be able to answer customer questions.

Collaborate with colleagues in different locations/divisions across the company.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
-
BS degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working within a sales environment with a strong commercial focus.

Beneficial to have an understanding of the Diagnostics/Life Science market and previous OEM experience.

Experience using current initiative techniques and tools and experience working in a target driven environment.

Ability to track return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPI’s)

Possess excellent IT skills; including experience working with databases, Sales Force, Office Suite including Outlook, Excel and Word are essential.

Travel required up to 25% of the time.
