Are you a highly motivated individual who loves working in a competitive environment? Our Inside Sales department at Vivint is expanding to include Solar & Energy offerings. We have an energetic, team-focused culture where growth and development are always top of mind. This position provides development sales experience for a motivated individual to move into a full sales cycle role.


As a Sales Setter, you will spend your time making outbound calls to existing customers who have expressed interest in receiving a quote on their home Energy savings. You will have the opportunity to develop and flex your sales skills by asking meaningful questions enabling us to better serve our current customers and generate sales by scheduling on-site appointments.

What We Offer:

  • $14.50/hr plus commission

  • Income potential of $60K+ median with our competitive commission structure.

  • Variety of schedules available, standard is Monday through Friday 9:00 - 5:00 pm.

A Day in the Life:

  • Drive new customer acquisition by utilizing persuasive sales techniques on outbound sales calls to qualify prospects.

  • Successfully completing our comprehensive sales training which includes product knowledge, salesmanship, and our software systems

  • Consistently perform on a variety of key performance indicators including, exceeding sales goals and meeting quality assurance requirements

  • Promote and sell Vivint products and services by emphasizing product features based on customers’ needs

  • Build rapport and connect with potential customers – aims to turn every call into a sales opportunity

What We're Looking For:

  • Excellent communication skills and professional telephone demeanor

  • Great listening skills and customer-focused sales approach

  • Flexibility and versatility in problem analysis and resolution

  • Ability to stay composed and objective.

  • Conversational, patient, and confident, with a positive attitude

  • Competitive spirit and goal-oriented

  • Thrives in a commission-based environment

  • Ability to use phone and computer systems

  • Ability to multi-task, including conversing while navigating our CRM system simultaneously

  • Previous customer service, inside sales or call center experience is a major plus

  • Phone-related service a major plus

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Complete and pass a pre-employment background check

  • Proficiency in using computer systems and applications.
