Pay: $65-90/hr W2Based on relevant years of experience3 Openings:JOB DESCRIPTIONAn top automotive client is searching for 3 Rust Backend Engineers to join their Manufacturing Innovation Technology team for a contract opportunity. These resources can sit in Georgetown, KY, Huntsville, AL, Greensboro, NC or Plano, TX and will be reporting to the New Technology Manager in Georgetown, KY. The primary responsibilities for this opportunity will play critical role in in developing platform solutions for MQTT Brokering, Historian, and data operations. This position is integral to our digital transformation projects, which aim to revolutionize our data management and operational capabilities.More responsibilities below:- Platform Development: Design and implement backend solutions using Rust for MQTT Brokering, Historian, and Data Operations- Data Operations: Develop and maintain rules, schemas, and APIs to aggregate data, calculate KPIs, link data sources, and publish data as MQTT payloads- API Development: Build robust and scalable APIs to facilitate seamless data connectivity and management across the enterprise- Data Management: Create efficient data aggregation processes to streamline data operations and improve data accessibility- KPI Calculation: Develop calculations and methodologies to accurately calculate and report key performance indicators (KPIs)- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, and business analysts, to ensure successful project deliveryREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- 3-5 years Rust or C++ Experience- Kubernetes experience- Major platform experience (Google cloud, AWS preferred, Azure)NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- Extensive PM experience (they are going to need to manage their own tasks and their own projects- internal & external stakeholders, creating punch listt)- IOT experience (arduinos or moving anything to the cloud) AKA this is industry 4.0- Timeseries historian (time focused keeping of data)
