Back End Java Developer at Insight Global in Raleigh, NC

A large health care client is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join their team. This person will be joining a team comprised of 6 devs, 2 QA, 1 BA, 1PO, and 1 scrum master that are working on the service layer that converts native APIs mostly built in JSON format to a HL& FHIR API to interconnect health care systems. Responsibilities include: Serve as a senior software developer for the... software platform developing REST APIs. 75% coding in Java 25% collaborating with solution architects/BA/QA Provide input on software solution designs Work across all teams as a subject matter expect Mentor junior software developers on coding designs and best practices Work typical on shore hours (9am-5pm EST depending on location) with occasional meetings earlier or later to support other time zones as needed. Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree is non-negotiable must have 7 years of experience with hands on development with Java 2 years of experience with integrating services into a cloud architecture 2 years of experience working with Docker containers Experience working in Agile environment Desired Skills 2 years of experience with good understanding on FHIR standard Experience developing UI web services with Angular The ability to execute existing queries as well as write SQL queries of varying complexity Experience with GIT for code repository Experience with Jenkins for deployment automation Salary Range: $100K -- $150K Minimum Qualification Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
