Required Skills and Experience *• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or equivalent work experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management.• 5+ years' experience in Supply Chain Management• 3+ years' experience as a Buyer working with government contractors• Experience purchasing Build-to-Print parts from machine shops/fabricators• Knowledge of compliance acquisition procedures and FAR/DFAR requirements.• International subcontract experience with working knowledge of import/export compliance and ITAR regulations.Must be a U.S. PersonNice to Have Skills and ExperiencePreferred Skills/Qualifications:• Experience with SAP and SAP lightExperience within the Aerospace/Defense industryJob Description *• The Buyer role within the Supply Chain Management organization of an aerospace/defense company is responsible for procurement of a diverse portfolio of programs. The Buyer will be a key role in procuring an array of materials for the organization across a variety of programs as part of aircraft development. Procurement of build-to-print parts and commercial off the shelf components are core functions of this role. This is a virtual position.
