Insight Global is seeking a Financial Data Analyst for a large financial services client within their Capital Management/Treasury organization. Were looking for candidates with a strong background in capital calculations and Basel rules. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Basel RWA (Risk-Weighted Assets) rules and proficiency in VBA coding. - Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely data reporting.
- Implement and enhance data models to support capital calculations and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze and interpret Basel RWA rules to ensure accurate risk-weighted asset calculations.
- Create and maintain VBA macros for automating data workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes related to capital requirements.
- Run month end and quarter end responsibilities for calculating RWA using Saber (internal application used for calculations)
- Ad hoc research on variances by running sql code and digging into data
- Review Basel rules and ensure calculations are in line with rules; documentation of alignment with rules including sql code review
- Implementation of new code to run B3E calculations
- Transition of calculation from current Saber solution to a new application, Saber Connect
